DR NATASA MALA
Doctor Natasa Mala was born in Nicosia, Cyprus and speaks fluent Greek, English and German.

Dr Mala studied general medicine for six years in Germany at the Philips University in Marburg, one of the oldest Universities in Medical Studies. She qualified to be a doctor in 1988 and started work at the Veramedica Clinic where she specialised in General Medicine and Alternative Medicine.
​
Dr Natasa Mala returned to Cyprus in 1992 and founded the Veramedica practice on the 14 February 1994. In addition to general practice, she has an interest in alternative medicine and she also provides palliative care medical services to the Archangel Michael Hospice in Paphos.
DR MAKIS (MAKARIOS) ASPROU

Dr Asprou studied Medicine at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. He went on to postgraduate training and qualified as a GP in 2004. He also has extensive postgraduate qualifications and experience in musculoskeletal medicine. Dr Asprou is also a medical educator, and has been involved in training undergraduate medical students, postgraduate junior doctors and doctors working towards specialisation in General Practice in the UK.

Dr Asprou has been part of the Veramedica team since May 2020 working alongside Dr Natasa Mala. Before moving to Cyprus in January 2020, he had been working as a senior GP and a GP with a specialist interest in musculoskeletal medicine in the UK. He brought with him 16 years of general practice experience and skills which he now offers to his patients here in Cyprus.
ADMINISTRATION STAFF
Veramedica’s reception and administration team are responsible for the daily smooth running of the surgery. They answer the phones, book appointments, help with patient queries and take messages for the doctors. They also help patients with the registration on the Gesy system.
